As a result, the company's new purchase prices of No2 HMS are Y25,000/ton delivered Okayama works, Y24,000/ton delivered Kyushu works, and Y23,000/ton delivered Takamatsu works, each for arrivals by land and sea.
At the Utsunomiya works, the purchase prices of all grades go unchanged. The purchase price of No2 HMS is Y24,500/ton delivered for overland arrivals.
Meanwhile, intakes of local ferrous scrap at the Utsunomiya works are due to stop for 24 hours from midnight on Sept 3.
