Japan's Kanto Tetsugen cooperative association of ferrous scrap dealers is contemplating holding its sales tender Jan 17 to export 10,000-15,000 tons of locally available No2 HMS from the Kanto area for February shipment. As a result, the trading companies concerned are invited to bid for separate purchases.
Kanto Tetsugen sold a total of 8,000 tons as No2 HMS to Mitsui Bussan Raw Materials Development Corp in the export tender the association held Dec 15 last year. Of the total, the trading house bought the first 32,000 tons at Y22,050/ton FAS, and the remaining 5,000 tons at Y21,850/ton FAS. |
