| Sinosteel Extends TOB Period For Midwest Corp |
| Sinosteel Ocean Capital Pty Ltd (Sinosteel) announced August 25 that it will extend the period of its off-market takeover bid or all the shares of Midwest Corporation until September 15, 2008. According to Sinosteel's formal registration with the Australian relevant authorities, it holds approximately 59.5% of Midwest ordinary voting shares as of August 22. |
