| Iron, Steel Production In Oct 08 Plunges In China |
| According to the November 13 announcement of National Bureau of Statistics of China for October 2008, pig iron, crude steel and steel products were output during the period at 34.13 million tons (Mt), 35.90 Mt and 42.93 Mt, respectively, with each declining 16.8%, 17.0% and 12.4% from the same period last year, respectively. |
