According to the results of iron ore exports in October 2008 announced by Brazilian SECEX, a total of 26.738 million tons (Mt) of iron ore comprising non-agglomerated and agglomerated were exported during the period from the country. The exports represented an increase of 1.631 Mt or 6.5% from the previous corresponding period.
By destination, China remained the top market importing 8.214 Mt but with a significant decline of 3.459 Mt or 29.6%. |
