| NYK Vice-President Yasumi Kudo Appointed Next President |

Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) announced December 25 the appointment of Yasumi Kudo, (currently Representative Director, Executive Vice-President and Corporate Officer) to the post of President, effective from April 1 2009. Mr. Kudo joined NYK Line in April 1975. In June 1998 assigned to General Manager of Semi-Liner Group. In April 2001 assumed General Manager of Car Carrier Group. Born on November 14, 1952. Graduated from Keio University (Faculty of Economics) in March 1975. |
