Mineral Resource Estimate For Mauritanian Lebtheinia Project Revised
= From previously announced 2,311 Mt to 2,533 Mt, being up 222 Mt =
Australian Sphere Investments Limited announced April 16 an updated JORC Code compliant Mineral Resource of 2,533 million tonnes (Mt) for the Company's 100% owned Lebtheinia Iron Ore Project in Mauritania. The resource includes 2,179 Mt of Indicated Resource and 354 Mt of Inferred Resource.

Compared with the previous Resource estimate of 2,311 Mt announced in December last (vide TEX Report of Dec. 5 2008 issue), total Resource has increased by 222 Mt and the proportion of Indicated Resource in the total Mineral Resource has increased from 76% to 86%. All available drilling data were used in the updated estimate, including outstanding drilling results, analyses and consequent geological interpretation from the 2008 drilling program.

Lebtheinia Centre is one of the four Archaean magnetite-banded iron-formation (BIF) deposits in the Lebtheinia Project Area, the others being Lebtheinia North, South and East.

A total of 50,828 m (168 holes) of reverse circulation (RC) and 1,174 m (4 holes) of diamond core were drilled at the Lebtheinia Centre Deposit of which 48,669 m (157 holes) were used for the resource estimation.
