Australia - China> - Anglo-Australian resource company BHP Billiton voyage-chartered the TAI SHAN (1999-built) to ship 170,000 tons of iron ore at Port Hedland, Western Australia for transport to Qingdao, China. Freight rate: $6.45/ton. (Fio loading to scale; unloading 30,000 t/d) Laycan schedule: May 1 - 10. - BHP voyage-chartered the HARMONIOUS (2007-built) to ship 170,000 tons of iron ore at Port Hedland for transport to Qingdao. Freight rate: $6.60/ton. (Fio loading to scale; unloading 30,000 t/d) Laycan schedule: early May. The vessel is relet from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL). - Rio Tinto Shipping voyage-chartered the AQUAJOY (2003-built) to ship 160,000 tons of iron ore at Dampier, Western Australia for transport to Qingdao. Freight rate: $6.40/ton. (Fio loading to scale; unloading 30,000 t/d) Laycan schedule: end April. The vessel is also relet from MOL. - Rio Tinto Shipping voyage-chartered the CAPE JUPITER (1997-built) to ship 160,000 tons of iron ore at Dampier for transport to Qingdao. Freight rate: $6.20/ton. Europe> - South Korean shipping company SK Shipping time-chartered the GLOBAL WINNER (161,121 dwt, 1997-built) with delivery at Antwerp and redelivery in Western Europe via Colombia.
