It was known on the 17th of April that Yildirim Group, a producer of ferro-chrome in Turkey, is appealing to the European Commission (EC) for antidumping duties on ferro-chrome imported from India, Russia, Kazakhstan and South Africa to the EC countries, on behalf of Vargon Alloys AB which is a Swedish subsidiary of Yildirim Group.
Yildirim Group has possessed the plants to producer ferro-chrome in Turkey and Sweden and said that the sales of ferro-chrome at discounted prices by these four countries in Europe have damaged to fall steeply prices of ferro-chrome and to suspend operations of electric furnaces for ferro-chrome, and so on. |
