China's Iron Ore Imports By Discharge Port In Jan - May 09
= Discharge at Qingdao Customs Area tops with 60.604 million tons =
According to China's Customs Statistics for January to May 2009 announced by the country's Customs General Administration, iron ore imports into the country during the period saw Qingdao Customs Area in Shandong province stand first with 60.604 million tons (Mt), increasing 16.2% from the same period last year. Shijiazhuang Customs Area in Hebei province ranked second with 39.037 Mt with an increase of 76.1%, followed by Tianjin Customs Area in Tianjin Special Economic Zone with 31.909 Mt, an increase of 52.2%.

Qingdao Customs Area controls and manages exports and imports of ports located in Shandong province, such as Qingdao, Rizhao, Yantai, Weihai, Lanshan, Longkou, etc.
