| Brazil's Iron Ore Exports By State In Jan - July 09 |

| According to Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade ("SECEX") in the Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce, iron ore exports from this country in January to July 2009 turned out as summarized in the table below. In terms of major state of origin, Minas Gerais stood first with 78.661 million tons (Mt; share 55.1%), followed by Pará with 47.932 Mt (33.6%), and Espírito Santo with 13.424 Mt (9.4%). Combined exports from these states accounted for 98.1% in the total. |
