China's Iron Ore Imports In January 2012 At 59.32 Million Tonnes
According to China's Customs Statistics for January 2012 announced by the country's Customs General Administration on February 10, iron ore imports into the country during the period turned out to be 59.32 million tonnes, down 14% from the same month previous year (68.87 million tonnes). Imports amounted US$8,095.224 million and import price was US$136.47 per ton, which is a decrease by US$16.87 (down 11%) from the same month previous year (US$153.34).
