3rd Cargo Shipped In Feb From Peru LNG Bound For Japan
=Carried by "Sevilla Knutsen" sailing on February 19th
According to an information about LNG cargo shipped from Peru, the third LNG cargo in February 2012 was shipped and left for Japan. As for February shipment, "Ribera Duero Knutsen" departed from Peru to Japan on 6th and "Barcelona Knutsen" on 13th.

"Sevilla Knutsen" has been put into operations to transport the third LNG cargo. The vessel left Peru on 19th and expected to reach Japan around mid-March.

Incidentally, the fourth LNG cargo in February has been carried by "Castillo de Santisteban", which is bound for Spain.

All these LNG were produced at the only LNG production project in the country Peru LNG Project, which has production capacity of 4.4 million tons per year.

After Spain's Repsol YPF S.A. had taken all the quantity of LNG produced at the project, most LNG cargoes have been sold to Europe. In 2011, number of cargo bound for Japan was only five, which accounts for about 9% of total shipments.

Meanwhile, total four cargoes have already been shipped to Japan including a cargo in January, which shows the exports to Japan have rapidly been on the rise.
