U.S. DOE Permits Extension Of LNG Imports By JPMorgan LNG
=Total 600 Bcf of LNG will be imported for 2 years from April 2012
The United Sates Department of Energy (DOE) approved applications for extension of LNG imports filed by JPMorgan LNG Co. As a result, it has become possible for JPMorgan to import total 600 Bcf, or about 12 million MT of LNG for two years from April 6th 2012 to April 5th 2014 through LNG import terminals located in the U.S.

JPMrogan has been currently importing LNG to the U.S. in accordance with the import license valid from April 6th 2010 to April 5th 2012, which was obtained from DOE.

However, from the time when JPMorgan got the import permit to December 2011, the company only imported 9.0 Bcf, or about 180,000 MT in total which arrived in December 2010 and October 2011. Both cargoes were received at Sabine Pass LNG Terminal.
