|Australian Woodside Ready To Start Up Pluto LNG Project|

Australian Woodside Petroleum Ltd. completed Ready For Start Up (RFSU) at Pluto LNG Project, for which the company serves as an operator.|
The first gas supply to the LNG train began in the afternoon of March 22nd. Woodside is planning to begin LNG production in the coming weeks.
The first LNG production at Pluto LNG project was originally slated for the period from February to March 2011. However, on account of troubles at facilities and delay in works, the time for the first shipment was postponed to March 2012.
AT the onshore facility to produce LNG located on Burrup Peninsula, Woodside has steadily proceeded with preparations and finally achieved ready for start up. However, as mentioned that the LNG production will start in the coming weeks, it is hard to make shipment in March. Some rumors are going around that the commencement of shipment will be put off to May.
At the initial phase of Pluto LNG Project, 4.3 million tons per year of LNG will be produced. Based on long-term contracts with Woodside, 1.75-2 million tpy of LNG will be sold to Kansai Electric Power Company and 1.5-1.75 million tpy to Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd.
