|Manzanillo LNG Terminal Starts Trial Operations|

Trial operations began at Manzanillo LNG Terminal in Mexico, which had been constructed by Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) and Samsung C&T Corporation. The terminal is owned 37.5% by Mitsui, 25% by KOGAS and 37.5% by Samsung.|
Mexico's president Felipe Calderon and Antonio Vivanco of Mexican Federal Electricity Commission, which will purchase vaporized gas from the terminal, and others attended the completion ceremony held on March 27th (local time in Mexico).
At Manzanillo LNG terminal, "Valencia Knutsen", the first LNG carrier from Peru, arrived this month. If the commissioning goes smoothly from now, the operations at the terminal is expected to be shifted to commercial ones this May.
The total site area of Manzanillo LNG terminal is 85.74ha, where regasification facilities, capable of processing up to 3.8 million tons per year of LNG, are installed, in addition to two LNG storage tanks with capacity of 150,000 KL each.
