On the other hand, Awilco will bring forward the schedule for 125,660 cubic-meter LNG carrier "WilPower dry-docking to May. The vessel has now been chartered by Japan's trading firm on a short term contract from around December 2011 to the end of June 2012. It was originally scheduled to conduct maintenance around in July after the contract is expired, which, however, was accelerated by two months. Incidentally, Awilco's another LNG vessel "WilEnergy" with capacity of 125,556 cubic meters, has been in operations based on a contract valid until February 2013. Awilco is newly constructing two LNG carriers, having capacity 156,000 cubic meters each, built to an ice class, which are expected to be completed in August and November 2013 respectively. |
