|China Releases Flash Report on 2019 Authorized Exporter List for FA|
|= A group comprises 79 companies and B group 236 companies =|
The Government of China (Finance Department) released a flash report on the companies qualified as a ferroalloy exporter for 2019 at the end of November.|
The list released this time shows A group comprises 79 companies (of which 10 companies are new) and B group 236 companies (of which 57 companies are new), which totals 315, but the companies which are on hold are 3 companies in A group and 1 company in B group, and therefore there is a possibility the maximum number of the companies will be 319. Besides, 2 companies in A group were disqualified due to insufficient conditions, but no company in B group was disqualified due to the same reason.
The 2019 flash report shows that 5 qualified companies in A group were withdrawn from the 2018 final report, but as 10 new companies entered the list, which resulted in the total number being up by 5 companies from the 2018 final report. 14 qualified companies in B group were withdrawn from the 2018 final report, but 57 new companies entered the list, which resulted in the total number being up by 43 from the 2018 final report. For this reason, the number of the companies at the stage of flash report is drastically up from the 2018 final report (74 companies in A group and 193 companies in B group, which totalled 267 companies).
As to the items A and B groups can handle, the companies classified as A group can handle all of ferroalloy items, and the items what the companies classified as B group can handle are the remaining items after excluding Ferro-manganese (both high and low-carbon), ferro-silicon (Si>55%) and silico manganese from the items authorized for companies classified as A group.
The formal lists for qualified exporters are anticipated to be announced in late December.
