|South32 Reoffers Manganese Ore as January Shipment at Lowered Price|

According to the local news report in China, South32, a subsidiary of BHP Billiton Limited (BHPB) again offered manganese ore as January 2019 shipment meant for China at a lowered price yesterday. (Hereinafter, the price is per dmtu per 1% of Mn)|
The prices reoffered this time are the price of Australian manganese ore lump with Mn being 46% (GEMCO grade) is US$7.19 (down by US$0.36 from December shipment) and the price of manganese ore fine with Mn being 48% is US$7.12 (down by US$0.34 ditto).
Following the price cut made this time by South32, other companies also reoffered manganese ore as January shipment meant for China at a lowered price, and Eramet Comilog resubmitted offer prices at US$6.85 for Gabonese manganese lump ore with Mn being 45% (down by US$0.45 ditto) and at US$6.50 for its fine ore with Mn being 43% (down by US$0.60 ditto).
Tshipi Mine in South Africa reoffered manganese lump ore with Mn being 37% at US$6.25 (down by US$0.50 to US$0.60 ditto).
A certain market participant makes a comment that it has yet to hear the contract is made at this price, and South32's manganese ore as January shipment may be reoffered at a further lowered price from now onward.
