Brake Put on Rising Price of HC FeCr in China
= Because high price is adjusted and ore price drops back =
The price of high-carbon ferro-chrome in the Chinese domestic market has stopped rising since entering April.

The price of high-carbon ferro-chrome of Chinese origin as of April 3 is CNY7,300 to CNY7,500, unchanged from the end of March.

The market participants provide such reasons for the above as (1) Value added tax on manufacturing industries was lowered to 13% and the production coast was reduced, (2) Price of stainless steel products in China is remaining in the doldrums, (3) As a price rise during March was too large, there is a sign of adjusting a high price in the market, (4) Retail prices of chrome ore including UG2 in the Chinese domestic market dropped back and (5) Some of the ferro-chrome producers have begun to lower the offer price for the customers which are reluctant to buy at a high price.
